Welcome to Albertville AYSOUPDATE: It’s that time of year again! AYSO Fall Registration is set for Thursday, May 14th and Tuesday, May 19th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Albertville Recreation Center. Players must be between 4-15 years old as of July 31st. Copy of birth certificate is required for all first year players in the AYSO program. In preparation for the upcoming season, it is necessary to get an inventory of our equipment to see what our needs are before we start making purchases. If you have any AYSO equipment please bring it to us at registration or drop it off at the office of CDG Engineers & Associates on Martling Road. Parents click here for added information. Since 1995, the Albertville AYSO Region has been organizing soccer in the Sand Mountain area with players from Albertville, Boaz, Douglas, Guntersville and Horton. Our home fields are located at the Albertville Parks and Recreation Complex. All of our board members, coaches and referees are volunteers who are dedicated to providing a fun, safe and positive soccer experience for the children. We are always looking for more parents to get involved and help with the day to day operations of the Albertville AYSO Region. There are many ways you can volunteer and we provide all of the training and equipment you would need to fill any position. Positions we are looking to fill are: coaches, referees, game and practice schedulers, concessions manager and picture day coordinator to name a few. If you would like to do your part to ensure the success of the Albertville AYSO program, please contact the board members by clicking here and letting us know how you would be willing to assist. The Albertville AYSO Board Members look forward to having you as a part of a successful Fall 2008 Season.
Kids ZoneVerbal & physical abuse have NO PLACE in youth sports activities. "Kids Zone" is a program designed to eliminate negative sideline behavior. The national media has focused on the negative, even violent, behavior of players, coaches and parents involved in youth sports. As part of AYSO’s education agenda, Kids Zone is a dynamic program targeted to eliminate negative sideline behavior. It is aimed toward producing a thoroughly positive impact on everyone involved in youth soccer. Click here to read more . . .
